Property:
Lithium bromide solution is colorless, transparent, poisonless and flavorless salty, easily deliquescent. A 50–60% aqueous solution of lithium bromide is used in air-conditioning systems as desiccant. It is also used in absorption chilling along with water (see absorption refrigerator).

Application
Lithium bromide is an efficient water vapor absorbent and air humidity modifier. It can be widely used in refrigeration industry as absorption type refrigerant, in organic industry as hydrogen chloride remover, expansion agent for organic fiber. In addition, it can also be used in photographic industry and analytical chemistry, etc.

Storage
